About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to fill the role of Social Support Staff Advocate.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

About the Job

In this role, you will provide social support services to individuals in our Community Experience Program.

You will develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including Managers, Co-workers, and Community members.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals and making a positive impact in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide activity and social skill training to participants in the Community Experience Program.
  • Serve as a liaison to community resources and assist individuals in developing social networks and other supports.
Requirements
  • High School Education.
  • Obtain and maintain medication certification.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maturity, good judgment, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in first aid, CPR, PMT, and other resident-specific medical needs.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records.
  • Valid Connecticut Driver's License and eligibility for insurance.
  • Physical ability to assist participants when necessary.
  • Proficiency in the electronic health record system THERAP.
