Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Actalent. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality programs, leading customer and regulatory audits, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality programs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Lead customer and regulatory audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality programs
  • Manage customer-facing quality documentation, including product data sheets and certificates of analysis
  • Responsible for specification management across different commodities and products
  • Support R&D efforts by developing and managing testing regimes for new or changed product quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in the food industry in quality and food safety program documentation and execution
  • Understanding of food regulations and Global Food Safety requirements
  • Required certifications: HACCP and PCQI; SQF Practitioner, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, word processing, spreadsheets, and report writing
