Role Overview

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students with speech and language difficulties in Cambridge, MD.

About the Position

This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy strategies and improve communication skills among students.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in a supportive environment.
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct screenings and assessments of students' communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to address student needs.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • State certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience in a school environment preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
