Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering team in supporting new product launches, capital requests, and implementation, facility enhancements, and improvements to truck assembly safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily activities of the manufacturing engineering team.
  • Develop and drive a strong culture of high performance, excellent quality, and teamwork.
  • Review major product changes and provide input to Design Engineering on manufacturability and develop manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and coordinate capital investment opportunities.
  • Develop and execute departmental goals and objectives, including department budget.
  • Continuously improve the production process through improvements to equipment, tools, procedures, or other factors impacting safety, quality, and production capability.
  • Responsible for installation and rearrangement of plant and production equipment, ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Manufacturing/Industrial preferred).
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCad, ProE, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and make decisions independently.
  • Leadership experience.
