Senior Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: Medical ICU Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in the Medical ICU. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing a team of healthcare providers and providing high-quality patient care.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of healthcare providers, providing clinical direction and leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical direction and leadership to a team of healthcare providers
- Manage a caseload of patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and other interventions
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
