KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the requisition of medications and supplies under the direction of healthcare providers
  • Oversee the inventory of pharmaceuticals and chemicals, ensuring their safety and security
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medication dispensing
  • Accurately document data in electronic systems
  • Adapt to scheduling changes and job assignments to fulfill patient requirements
  • Promote a positive clinic atmosphere and collaborate effectively as a team member
  • Engage in committees and work alongside multidisciplinary teams
  • Implement goal-setting strategies for performance enhancement

The ideal candidate should possess the essential qualifications for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • Fundamental understanding of general chemistry and algebra

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy is mandatory; BLS certification is required within 90 days

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and hygiene practices
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
  • Awareness of clinic policies and procedures

  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking abilities
  • Capability to gather and report patient care information effectively
  • Familiarity with clinical medication dispensing tools and office equipment

ABILITIES

  • Effective communication skills with management, healthcare providers, and colleagues
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Indoor climate-controlled environment
  • Patient care setting with potential exposure to various hazards
  • Occasional outdoor work may be required
