Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the instructional program is delivered in a manner that serves students best and reflects well on the institution.
  • Conduct regular review of Adult Education program data and meet with data entry staff to ensure instructor compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Develop and conduct professional development activities to ensure instructors achieve required professional development.
  • Remain current with curriculum changes, technological changes, and Adult Education software applications, and make recommendations to the Director.
  • Assist the Director in conducting quarterly class site visits to monitor instructional program.
  • Assist the Director with marketing the adult Education program in the College's service area.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business, marketing, communication, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of related full-time work experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience teaching in a K-12 or higher education environment.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to career exploration.
  • High degree of workplace professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible, non-standard work week.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; proficiency in the English language.
  • Competent use of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Adult Education.
  • Supervisory experience.
