Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school district in Santa Rosa, CA. As an SLPA, you will work alongside experienced professionals to provide speech and language therapy to students.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist speech-language pathologists in providing speech and language therapy to students.
  • Conduct individual or small group therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the SLP to address students' speech and language goals.
  • Provide support in classroom settings to facilitate communication and language development.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with students and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric environments is preferred.
  • Must possess SLPA licenses and teaching certifications for California.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.
