Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is a vital member of our team, supporting the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing high-quality speech and language services. This role requires a strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services, including screenings, assessments, and interventions.
- Support the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of client progress, including reports and records.
- Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in speech and language pathology.
- Graduate of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program with an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent.
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
