Thermal Specialties is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Shared Services Division. This role offers a full-time hybrid work arrangement, with responsibilities spanning Monday to Friday. As a leader in custom manufacturing and service solutions, Thermal Specialties delivers exceptional offerings in high-temperature thermal processing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processing for multiple companies, including quarterly and annual tax submissions.
  • Prepare and file 401(k) reports and associated documentation, ensuring accurate and timely handling of contributions and plan modifications.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to handle all garnishment processes.
  • Support the Human Resources Generalist with various ad hoc projects.
  • Conduct thorough coding and auditing of employee insurance benefits, ensuring correct allocation across divisions.
  • Execute additional administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
  • Experience with Sage 100c is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance is necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
  • Strong analytical abilities and effective time management skills are expected.
  • Capability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately.

Work Schedule:

  • Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break).
  • Option for a hybrid schedule available after an introductory period.
