Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Experience Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and ensuring prompt, courteous customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, engaging and interacting with all customers to create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, personalizing the customer experience, and promoting loyalty programs
  • Assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities, and providing progress updates
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others and have 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
