About the Role

This opportunity is perfect for a mental or behavioral healthcare professional with a patient-first attitude, solid mental health or healthcare experience, and an eagerness to learn. We are seeking an individual who will be trained and certified to administer breakthrough behavioral health care services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine therapy to patients with depression and other mental health disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Administering TMS or esketamine therapy, in accordance with all provider-established clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitoring all aspects of TMS and esketamine (Spravato) treatments to ensure patient wellbeing and clinical accuracy.
  • Reviewing and administering psychiatric rating scales (i.e., PHQ-9, QIDS-SR16) to patients, as applicable, to benchmark treatment progress and ensure continuity of care.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues related to patient discomfort during treatment using FDA pre-approved guidance from device manufacturer(s) or applicable medication protocols and in accordance with all clinical provider directives.
  • Delivering exceptional patient care at all times by demonstrating empathy, developing trust, utilizing reflecting listening, and providing support to a vulnerable patient population.
  • Recording all treatment session notes and documents in EHR, collaborating with other team members and/or providers as needed.
  • Scheduling patients (both over the phone and in person), as well as conducting patient checkout procedures including collecting applicable co-payments and relaying discharge instructions.
  • Maintaining understanding of general insurance and billing procedures to support related workflows and requests, as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required) and at least one year of experience working in a patient care or mental health office setting or operating room setting, OR;
  • High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Medical Assistant or other clinical certification may be considered with additional years of solid work experience.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems, preferably AdvancedMD and SalesForce.
  • Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines highly recommended but not required.
  • Clinical Interviewing
  • Basic Life Support Certification - will be provided
