Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs, including those with acute mental illness, substance use disorder, personality disorder, substance abuse, or developmental disability.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal health and well-being.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatments to address patient needs and promote positive outcomes.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote healthy coping mechanisms and self-management skills.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in behavioral health care and to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina, required.
- NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire, required.
- One year of relevant experience in behavioral health care, preferred.
