Position Summary:
As a Junior Insurance Broker, you will support the Account Executive, Broker, and Producer in the marketing and management of both new and renewal insurance business. You will collaborate with the production team and insurance providers to ensure a seamless client renewal process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in renewal strategy discussions with the Account Executive, both internally and with clients.
- Prepare for renewal submissions by:
- Organizing client information and forwarding it to the analytics team for assessment.
- Creating submissions for market distribution.
- Compiling loss summaries and stratifications at various retention levels as outlined by the broker.
- Coordinating with the Loss Control team to gather necessary documentation for submissions.
- Updating manuscript policy forms to accompany submissions.
- Follow up with underwriters to obtain quotes.
- Develop program schematics and pricing summaries for client presentations.
- Distribute quotes to clients and secure bind orders as required.
- Create and maintain policy files in the shared drive upon receipt of binders.
- Send binders to clients along with a list of subjectivities.
- Ensure timely follow-up with carriers regarding policy issuance.
- Verify that policies have been reviewed with brokers.
- Cross-check quotes, binders, and policies in collaboration with the broker.
- Send verified policies to clients.
- Coordinate with carriers for any necessary endorsements.
- Maintain an organized shared drive of essential documents (e.g., policies, endorsements, invoices, ID cards, certificates, audits, etc.).
- Address ad hoc requests related to acquisitions, policy modifications, and other mid-term renewal activities.
- Assist brokers with client presentations and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Preferred Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- State-specific license required or to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:
Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $125,000 based on experience, along with bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
