POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who possess a genuine passion for the outdoors and a commitment to fulfilling our guests' needs. Join our dedicated team at NOC's Great Outpost, strategically located near a renowned national park. As a Retail Specialist, you will gain extensive knowledge of our diverse range of products, including apparel, gear, and adventure offerings, enabling you to provide our guests with insightful information about the national park and its surrounding trails.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify guest needs through engaging interactions and provide effective solutions.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets.
- Maintain an appealing visual presentation of products and signage.
- Ensure product availability at all times.
- Uphold cleanliness standards throughout the store.
- Acquire knowledge of NOC's products and services.
- Familiarize yourself with the local area, national parks, and hiking trails to assist guests effectively.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Offer samples of food and beverage products to guests as required.
Qualifications
Essential
- Basic computer proficiency for operating our POS and inventory systems.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred
- Familiarity with the local area.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Patience and enthusiasm when interacting with guests.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 15 pounds unassisted.
- Able to navigate stairs multiple times a day while carrying light items.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
