Job Summary:

As a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Specialist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a critical role in performing high-quality cardiovascular ultrasounds and evaluating data for cardiologist interpretation. This position requires substantial knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular disease, dynamics of blood flow, Doppler, and color flow imaging techniques.

Our ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology, and pathology, as well as hemodynamics and the ability to relate these findings into clinically meaningful data.

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline is a leading acute care medical facility in the region, offering a full range of diagnostic and surgical specialty services in cardiac, cancer, and stroke care.

We are a teaching facility in affiliation with the Texas A&M University System Health and Science Center College of Medicine and are accredited by the Joint Commission.

Requirements:
Education/Skills

High School Diploma

Experience

Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in Cardiac ultrasound.

Must have considerable experience performing routine echoes, including color flow, pulse wave, and continuous wave Doppler, stress, echo, pharmacologic stress, and TEE. Also, experience using contrast echo agents.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
