Maine Medical Center is highly recognized for the level of patient care provided to patients across the State of Maine and Southern New Hampshire.

The team at MMP Women's Health promotes a smooth flow of patients through the department, creating a supportive atmosphere.

The state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment enables us to produce high-quality diagnostic images, showcasing our expertise in Obstetric care, including first, second, and third trimester scans, as well as 3D imaging.

We pride ourselves on being AIUM accredited in several areas, including GYN care, allowing us to provide the highest level of patient care.

We continue to be a teaching facility for surrounding ultrasound programs and the residency program at MMC, sharing our extensive knowledge and academic interest in the field.

Training and education are provided to ensure our team members become Fetal Echocardiography certified, enhancing our capabilities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Post high school education consistent with requirements set forth by The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) to gain eligibility for Registry Examinations.

License/Certifications: OB/Gyn credentialed by the ARDMS. If eligible, but not registered at time of employment, registration to be achieved within one year of hire date. Nuchal translucency certified. If not certified at time of employment, certification to be achieved within one year of hire date. Continuing medical education credits as required to maintain registry status through the ARDMS.

Experience: Not applicable. Skills in gathering and analyzing patient data and experience working with computers are essential. The ability to implement sound clinical judgment through the use of guidelines and direction from providers is also required.

Salary: $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $70,000, based on industry standards and the level of expertise required.
