Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborative Team Member:

Work alongside fellow associates to cultivate a robust meat team; engage in effective communication with team members; and adapt to the business's needs by assisting in various areas.


Product Knowledge Expert:

Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of in-store operations, backroom processes, product safety regulations, sanitation standards, inventory oversight, and the proper handling and preparation of meat products, including cutting, grinding, and wrapping.


Technology Savvy:

Utilize digital tools to enhance sales, improve customer experiences, and boost associate engagement; employ handheld devices to make informed decisions regarding production, training, and product quality while keeping customer satisfaction in focus.


Operational Excellence Owner:

Uphold a commitment to operational standards by maintaining your workspace in accordance with company guidelines; ensure quality control and date compliance for meat products; manage fragile and high-shrink items; minimize waste; assist customers with their purchasing choices; and guarantee that products are appropriately packaged, labeled, and stored.


Department Advocate:

Serve as a representative for the meat department and the store by prioritizing customer experiences in the meat section and demonstrating high-quality service and products; execute foundational tasks at the highest quality level; and display enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for your work.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing relevant action plans; utilizing the Open Door Policy; and applying these principles in daily operations.

Complete assigned tasks and priorities by leveraging policies, data, and resources; collaborating with management, colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; executing tasks; communicating progress and updates; and recommending improvements while being adaptable to change and feedback.

Salary Range:

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $26.00, with actual rates meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may include performance incentives and potential premiums based on various criteria.
