Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Art Museum Veterinary Center LLC. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our doctors and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement with precision and accuracy
  • Monitor anesthesia and provide support during procedures
  • Assist with canine and feline dentistry, including digital dental radiographs and drug calculations
  • Administer medication via injection and orally
  • Operate radiology equipment and provide high-quality images
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding animal care and procedures
  • Triage patients and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; licensed CVT a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
