Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at the Mental Health Association. This role will provide critical support to our NJ4S Hub program, ensuring seamless scheduling and coordination of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer general and new participant inquiries, providing clear and concise information about our services.
  • Communicate with potential participants, supporting them through the scheduling and application process.
  • Facilitate the paperwork process with potential participants, ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately.
  • Coordinate inquiries with the NJ4S Assistant Director to ensure tiered services are provided accordingly.
  • Schedule NJ4S prevention services with participants, ensuring timely and effective delivery of support.
  • Assist with scheduling and hosting NJ4S Advisory Group meetings, promoting collaboration and coordination among stakeholders.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting as necessary, providing valuable insights to inform program development.
  • Coordinate and schedule NJ4S staff meetings, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork.
  • Participate in trainings as required, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, social work, etc.)
  • Two (2) years of experience in scheduling and office management in community-based services or social service settings.
  • Additional education and related experience are preferred, such as a bachelor's degree in a human services-related field.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy with some knowledge and experience in data entry, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be well-organized, accurate, have good interpersonal skills, and welcome new ideas.
  • Must be able to initiate and handle multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
