About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at UT Federal Credit Union. This role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years' experience in compliance or a related field. The role is based at UT Federal Credit Union Corporate Headquarters in [Location].

About the JobAs a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining all aspects of our Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program. This role requires strong knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills. You will work closely with our credit union members, employees, and regulatory bodies to maintain a safe and secure working environment. You will also be required to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staying up-to-date with changes to federal and state banking laws and regulations.
  • Serving as the credit union's Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance Officer.
  • Communicating current legislative issues to management and recommending the credit union's position.
  • Participating in new product/service development and recommending appropriate compliance controls.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least two years' experience in compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and laws.
  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering/U.S. Patriot Act, OFAC Regulations.
