Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. in East Syracuse, NY. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including creating and distributing bi-monthly invoices, accurately posting daily lockbox deposits, and providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bi-monthly/monthly invoicing process, including data analysis and manipulation, generating invoices, and email delivery.
  • Maintain good relationships with client contacts while working together to resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Generate detailed documentation to accompany rebate and commission payments.
  • Setup and maintain financial information in CRM.
  • Accurately post daily lockbox deposits.
  • Identify, research and correct posting errors.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all internal and external customers.
  • Assist in daily routines as needed during staffing shortages or peak workloads.
  • Reconcile and answer questions regarding customers' accounts as requested using Lawson, Cloudsuite, Microstrategy, and CRM.
  • Assist with month-end close procedures.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks in the absence of the Accounting Manager.
  • Complete all mandatory training programs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • AS Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Excel functions and formulas required.
  • 1 year of previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or General Accounting preferred.
  • Previous experience with Lawson preferred.
Compensation

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
