Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Dot It Restaurant Fulfillment. This role will play a crucial part in overseeing financial aspects of manufacturing operations, requiring a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting principles, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze variances between actual and standard costs within ERP and job costing software
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve cost control measures and improve current procedures
  • Analyze production costs and prepare detailed cost reports
  • Monitor BHR rates in conjunction with Production department
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations in collaboration with Operations team
  • Assist with preparing entity level budget and holding monthly cost center review meetings
  • Oversee inventory valuations and cycle count process
  • Guide and mentor accounting team
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
  • Review monthly financial statements and reports for management
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Prior Experience with Cost Accounting
  • Prior usage of LabelTraxx and/or Radius (preferred)
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated system
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional, flexible, ability to work independently and be a positive team player
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Proficient typing skills
