The Family Support Coordinator will engage with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team remotely, utilizing digital tools to assist youth and families. This team may consist of behavioral health professionals, peer specialists, and healthcare educators, all working together to empower families. This role is pivotal in creating a collaborative environment that connects various service providers and advocates for the needs of individuals and their families, ensuring they remain together and enhancing their safety and satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of public systems and the ability to gather and organize resource information across Washington State.
- At least one year of experience working with youth and families.
- Experience in Behavioral Health Case Management is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility for licensure as an agency-affiliated counselor through the Washington State Department of Health.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while making ethical and safe decisions.
- Ability to manage personal stress and perform essential job functions professionally.
- Reliable internet connection is necessary for this remote position.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, and Excel, is preferred.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license or state identification.
Core Responsibilities:

- Actively promotes the VIEW program throughout Washington State, identifying opportunities to enhance outcomes for children and families.
- Collaborates with the VIEW team and community partners to develop a comprehensive plan for long-term support.
- Provides case management and generates appropriate referrals to assist youth and families in achieving their treatment goals, including phone calls, telehealth sessions, meetings, and documentation.
- Facilitates cross-agency communication and planning as necessary.
- Participates in weekly meetings, supervision, and team discussions.
- Completes all required training and demonstrates proficiency in necessary skills.
- Available to assist VIEW and community members during crisis situations.
- Maintains professionalism and unity in communications with clients and their families, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Adheres to ethical standards, policies, and procedures of the organization, both in the office and in the community.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
