Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Services Representative to join our team at University Hospitals Urgent Care. This role requires a Medical Assistant or EMT-Advanced/Paramedic education and one year of relevant healthcare experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in venipuncture and injections, with knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examination and/or treatment
  • Perform triage and obtain vital signs
  • Document patient history in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collect and maintain patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
  • Administer medications and non-intravenous injections
  • Perform various clinical, aseptic, and laboratory procedures
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a MA, EMT, or Paramedic program from an accredited institution
  • One year of relevant healthcare experience; preferably urgent care or emergency department
  • Willingness to train new graduates
