Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Services Representative to join our team at Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Perform triage and obtain vital signs, utilizing your knowledge of clinical procedures and medical anatomy.
  • Accurately document patient history and medical interventions in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Collect and maintain patient and business documents, upholding confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Administer medications and perform various clinical procedures, including phlebotomy, urinalysis, and splinting.
  • Train and assist with our Occupational Medicine service line, utilizing our EMR system and adhering to established protocols.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with CLIA waived laboratory and patient result trackers.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a MA and EMT program from an accredited institution.
  • One year of relevant healthcare experience, preferably in urgent care or emergency department.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture and injections, as well as knowledge of clinical procedures and medical anatomy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Occasional lifting of moderate weight and specific vision abilities required.
