About the Role

Nooter Fort Wayne, a leading mechanical contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share in the Fort Wayne area.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with potential buyers, current clients, and referral leads.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop sales plans to achieve revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Fort Wayne Area Manager to execute business development action plans and monitor sales activities.
  • Provide input and feedback on marketing initiatives, client needs, and work in progress.
  • Manage the CRM system to ensure consistent client contact and assist in the development of sales plans.
  • Travel locally in the Fort Wayne area up to 50% of the time to meet with current and potential clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Business or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
  • 5+ years of related construction experience, with a good working knowledge of relevant markets and language.
  • Experience with Construction CRM software.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills.
  • Highly professional and trustworthy team player.
