Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing customers, obtaining orders, and establishing new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service existing customers and obtain orders by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient with Windows-based ERP programs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5 or more years' experience in a related position.
