Job Description

HireQuest Direct is seeking Event Staff to assist with various events. As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events. You will assist with set-up, guest services, and overall event management tasks.

This is a temporary/part-time position with varying shifts based on local events and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event set-up and breakdown, including arranging furniture, setting up decorations, and preparing event spaces.
  • Greet and assist guests, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Help manage the event schedule and ensure all activities run smoothly.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
  • Support the event manager and other team members as needed.
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.

Qualifications:

  • Be able to perform various physical tasks such as lifting, pulling, pushing, standing, and walking for entire shifts.
  • Work as part of a team to make a successful event.
  • High attention to detail and able to anticipate the needs of customers.

Compensation: $15-$19.20/hr

Shifts: Mainly 2nd shift, shift times vary based on event.
