Role Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development:
    • Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives to meet organizational sales objectives.
    • Identify and engage new business prospects within the assigned area.
    • Achieve or surpass sales goals and performance indicators.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
    • Conduct regular visits to clients to assess their needs and offer customized solutions.
    • Address and resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Market Research:
    • Keep track of market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer preferences.
    • Provide valuable market insights and feedback to the sales management team.
    • Stay updated on new products, services, and industry trends.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with inside sales and support teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
    • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain precise records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
    • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
    • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in field sales, ideally within the HVAC industry.
    • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and expanding market presence.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of HVAC products and solutions.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
    • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
    • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
