Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Novolex. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and building strong relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Verify accuracy of customer orders, including product codes, pricing, delivery dates, and other relevant details.
  • New Customer Setup: Gather and maintain pertinent information for customer master files, ensuring seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Inquiries: Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales, manufacturing, logistics, and accounting, to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved.
  • Customer Profile Maintenance: Update and maintain customer profiles, including order and invoice file maintenance, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Process and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Monitor customer service reports, including late shipment reports, and maintain customer inventories at plants and warehouses.
Requirements
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using personal computers, including MS Office software, and understanding of order management business software, preferably SAP.
  • Education: A high school diploma is required, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
