- Configure and optimize security assessment tools for identified repositories.
- Balance comprehensive scanning coverage with minimizing false positives.
- Validate critical and high-priority findings as genuine threats and ensure accurate severity ratings.
- Work alongside developers to enhance familiarity with in-scope applications.
- Integrate security assessments into the software development lifecycle, initiating scans at appropriate phases.
- Document necessary processes and procedures.
- Educate engineers on scanning configurations and vulnerability assessment protocols.
- Establish and configure reporting mechanisms to evaluate scanning services and remediation effectiveness.
- Review findings with security engineers and leadership, refining processes to meet business objectives.
ABOUT YOU:

- Purposefulness: You are committed to using your skills to serve others and are open to ongoing learning.
- Ownership: You honor your commitments, take action, and seek clarity in communication and expectations.
Your Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in configuring and optimizing security assessment tools.
- Strong grasp of secure development lifecycle and best practices.
- Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security or similar platforms.
- Proficient in documenting processes and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Consulting experience is advantageous.
Preferred Certifications:

- Work/life balance – we understand that life extends beyond work. We encourage our team to pursue personal interests, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time with family. We collaborate with clients and consultants to establish manageable workloads.
- Opportunities to engage with a passionate and supportive team, both in-person and remotely.
