Director of Data Warehousing and Reporting

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Data Strategy and Analytics team as the Director of Data Warehousing and Reporting. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehousing infrastructure, as well as the development and optimization of our analytical layer and downstream BI platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Warehousing Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Maintain and Enhance Analytical Layer: Maintain and enhance Madrigal's Analytical layer (HCP, HCO, Payor, Patient, and Geo) in support of reporting and BI needs.
  • Data Governance: Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Reporting and BI Development: Collaborate with stakeholders and the Director of Analytics to understand reporting requirements and develop a reporting layer to support BI development.
  • BI Tools and Technologies: Ensure that BI tools and technologies are effectively utilized to empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and technologies, including ETL processes, data modeling, and dimensional modeling.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and BI platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
