Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner

At ADM, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for electrical and instrumentation systems within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to identify electrical and instrumentation needs and prioritize tasks.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records, including equipment history, work orders, and inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks or services.
  • Investigate all "re-work" to determine root causes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and assist departments with preventive maintenance and semi-annual and annual inspections of Critical Safety Devices.
  • Help with preparation and planning for decreases in production of major and minor shutdowns.
  • Maintain and manage electrical and instrumentation work order log.
  • Arrange for special equipment and contractor services for electrical and instrumentation work.
Requirements:
  • Ability to use CMMS and Microsoft Suite software proficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written communications amongst various levels of the organization.
  • Able to work efficiently as an individual contributor, working both independently and as a team.
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of trades classifications and functions, focused on electrical and instrumentation.
  • Experience with trade supervision, repair, and maintenance planning, and/or project management.
Work Environment:

40% in the field, 60% desk work. Must be able to walk long distances, stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in a production environment with loud noises, dust, and other industrial conditions.
