Instrumentation Specialist, 3rd Shift Weekend Operations

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at VetJobs. This role will be responsible for installing, replacing, repairing, calibrating, and troubleshooting 4-20ma devices in industrial settings.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial or commercial settings, with a strong understanding of PLCs and instrumentation education. They will also possess excellent industrial safety experience, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Arc Flash training.
Responsibilities will include:
- Installing and wiring up PLC racks, power supplies, I/O cards, communication, scale transmitter inputs, etc.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in food grade and industrial areas.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough knowledge of manuals, publications, and files concerning equipment, programs, and production processes.
- Ability and willingness to perform general industrial maintenance activities outside of instrumentation scope of work.
The successful candidate will be able to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 55 pounds overhead. They will also be able to operate equipment or diagnose/detect issues of machinery that may be located at different heights, at times requiring work on ladders, scaffolding, or other work at heights or in confined spaces.
We offer on-the-job training to acquire skills and certifications, which will be assessed according to established standards. This includes completing ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training, as well as participating in company planner operations training and equipment training.
