Maintenance Industrial Electrician Position

At MKD Electric, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Industrial Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, installing, and maintaining our clients' systems, projects, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Bend and install rigid conduit.
- Set up and pull wire and cable.
- Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable.
- Install electrical gear, equipment, and devices.
- Install and troubleshoot PLC's.
- Install and troubleshoot AC and DC Drives.
- Read and comprehend tape measure, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts.
Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards.
- Proven experience in the electrical field.
- Knowledgeable of single and three-phase motors and motor control systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up and down stairs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts.
- Ability to bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift.
- Ability to operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment.
- Must be safety conscious.
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
- Requires standing for extended periods with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping.
