Job Title: Materials Manager

Job Summary:

The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies to ensure efficient and effective operations within the hospital. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain bottlenecks

• Analyze data to inform procurement decisions and optimize inventory levels

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to inventory management and supply chain operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Working Conditions:

The Materials Manager will work in a well-lighted and ventilated office setting, with frequent interruptions and occasional overtime required. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, or musculoskeletal injuries.
