Your Role:

  • Setting: Engage directly with young learners, providing essential speech therapy services.
  • Focus: Address a range of speech and language challenges for children in early childhood and preschool.
  • Caseload: Manage a diverse group of up to 45 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver customized therapy sessions tailored to the unique developmental needs of each child.
  • Caseload Management: Support children facing various speech and language difficulties.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with educators, families, and school personnel to provide comprehensive support.
  • Progress Monitoring: Evaluate and adjust therapy plans based on student advancements.
  • Engagement: Conduct interactive therapy sessions, either one-on-one or in small groups.

A Typical Day:

Your day will commence with warm interactions with students and staff. Mornings will focus on individualized therapy, while afternoons will involve additional sessions and collaborative planning with educators and families to enhance student growth.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must possess an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license.
  • Experience: Preferred background in early childhood and preschool environments; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
  • Education: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related discipline is required.
