About the RoleAs a Home Health Registered Nurse with Interim HealthCare, you will provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases. You will work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs, and aides providing patient care. Your responsibilities will include examining patients, doing assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to their physician. You will also educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet, and exercise, and coach family members on the patient's plan of care, medication, and home safety.
Requirements- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Colorado
- Graduate of an accredited school or program of nursing
- At least 1200 hours of experience as an RN
- Health care CPR/BLS Certified (demonstration course required)
- Home health care experience preferred
- Great organizational skills
- Able to manage patients with chronic illnesses
- Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)
- No Covid Vaccination Required
