Job Overview:

The Export Customer Service Representative (ECSR) plays a crucial role in managing order entry and providing exceptional international customer service. As the primary point of contact for our global clientele, the ECSR is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience with our products, services, and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Address customer inquiries, clarify available services, rectify errors, and provide pricing information.
  2. Process orders and develop leads while promoting our products and services.
  3. Direct complex inquiries to higher-level Technical Support.
  4. Prepare international quotations and proforma invoices.
  5. Manage export orders using our ORACLE-based system.
  6. Handle large and complex orders efficiently.
  7. Process communications via email and fax.
  8. Coordinate with freight forwarders for necessary documentation and freight charges.
  9. Organize transportation logistics for goods via air, sea, and land.
  10. Track international shipments and relay updates to all relevant parties.
  11. Assist in preparing export documentation, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
  12. Conduct restricted party screenings for customers and foreign visitors.
  13. Support sales teams with export quotes and inquiries.
  14. Engage effectively with individuals across all organizational levels.
  15. Commit to ongoing education and review of industry standards.
  16. Ensure accurate processing of all customer requests, including quotes and orders.
  17. Maintain and verify export documentation.
  18. May initiate outbound calls to enhance international business and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess an Associate's Degree in International Studies, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of experience in international logistics and export operations. A solid understanding of Export Administration Regulations and current INCOTERMS is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and prior experience in manufacturing export customer service is preferred.
