Postdoctoral Fellow Oligonucleotide Delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and outstanding individual to join our Pulmonary Drug Discovery group as a Postdoctoral Fellow. The selected candidate will work within a fast-paced, interactive, and innovative research team to explore oligonucleotide delivery strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Review literature and outline experimental strategy
- Design and execute experiments
- Analyze and interpret results, and present at internal meetings and scientific conferences
- Write original research manuscripts for scientific publications
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. degree in the life sciences
- Strong track record of innovative research demonstrated by publications in top-tier journals
- Experience and ability to develop and characterize cellular and animal models are required
- Knowledge in receptor biology with experience in development of in vitro and in vivo assays for ligand-receptor interactions are highly desired
- Essential laboratory skills including molecular cloning, bioproduction, RNA and protein analysis, tissue culture, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, flow cytometry/sorting and animal handling are highly desired
