Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Financial Specialist to join our team at New Gig Solutions in Spokane Valley, WA.

As a key member of our accounting firm, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic insights on tax issues.

Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profit organizations.
  • Evaluate clients' financial situations to provide personalized tax planning advice.
  • Maintain internal accounting books, ensuring accurate financial records and reporting.
  • Assist with year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience with a variety of clients.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
