Calvary Women\u2019s Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff in our transitional housing program.

The Operations Manager will oversee building security and maintenance, staff scheduling, and supervise and evaluate the performance of the Resident Assistants. Core hours are from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm each weekday with flexibility to allow for meetings and other activities that may occur during evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Property Management Company to report and resolve building maintenance issues
  • Oversee security systems and protocols
  • In collaboration with the program manager, create and manage the staff schedule
  • Manage reception desk to ensure timely, accurate delivery of mail, packages, supplies, and messages
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Resident Assistants
  • Work with the Property Manager and Cleaning Vendor to ensure a clean, sanitary environment
  • Monitor inventory and order facility and program supplies
  • Work with Program Manager, Chief Program Officer, and Chief Operations Officer to ensure that all program-specific policy documents are up to date and available to all staff
  • Work on-call shifts as scheduled
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive, timely, and appropriate feedback

  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Outlook
Work Environment
  • Own transportation is required for trips out of the office
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Climbing: Ascending or descending multiple flights of stairs, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
