Wright Plastic Products LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead our Madisonville, TN location. As a key member of our executive management team, you will be responsible for directing and managing all facility-specific operations in accordance with company policy, procedure, plans, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the facility's activities in support of the business plan and targeted improvement projects.
  • Participate in the development of the company's plans, programs, and policies as an active member of the company Executive Management Team.
  • Provide facility-specific business planning information annually or as required, including sales forecasts, capital spending requirements, staffing levels, and expected overhead spending, and expected material and labor variances.
  • Establish a key facility management team with key performance indicators for each function.
  • Participate as an active member of the company business development team, providing customer-specific updates, plans, and programs to the team.
  • Communicate all critical customer issues to the Executive Management Team as they occur.
  • Provide leadership and direction to all facility personnel to assure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Plan capital expenditures to support improvement and growth, providing planned timing, expected return, and financial impact of the requested expenditure to the executive management team for consensus.
  • Lead the monthly operations review of the facility with the Executive Management Team, providing analysis of the facility performance and communication actions and plans to resolve or improve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or 10 years of manufacturing management experience.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
  • Leadership/management skills, demonstrating ability to lead and include staff in planning and executing decisions, continuous improvement efforts - getting results through others.
  • Self-directed, intelligent, articulate, decisive individual who can relate to all levels of the company, possessing excellent communication skills.
  • Technical skills and experience in plastic injection molding processing, tooling, and machinery.
