Job Overview:
Civista Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Professional to join our retail banking team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in building relationships with customers, providing personalized solutions to meet their financial needs, and driving sales growth through consultative sales practices.

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced industry. You will be responsible for processing transactions, assessing customer needs, recommending products, and referring partners to customers to create an exceptional customer experience. In addition, you will be expected to develop an expansive knowledge of products and services to fulfill customer needs, open new accounts, perform maintenance, meet cross-sell goals, and solve problems daily.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through daily engagement, processing transactions, and assessing their needs.
- Recommend products and services that meet customer needs and increase revenue growth.
- Referring partners to customers to create a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Develop a deep understanding of Civista Bank's products and services to provide accurate recommendations and drive sales growth.
- Meet or exceed cross-sell goals by identifying opportunities to sell additional products and services to existing customers.
- Stay up-to-date on new procedures, systems, and technology to adapt to changing market conditions and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of previous teller experience required.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are essential for this role.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines with frequent interruptions.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Above-average knowledge of technology and willingness to adapt to new software technologies.

Working Conditions:
- Work involves eye strain due to constant use of computer screens, reading reports, and other tasks.
- Work requires concentration in distracting work conditions.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
