The Role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant to join our team in Green Bay, WI. As a member of our team, you will assist nursing staff with various tasks, room patients, take vital signs, and provide direct patient care. You will also interact with patients and family members, maintain records of care given, and perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing staff with various tasks
  • Room patients and take vital signs
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Interact with patients and family members
  • Maintain records of care given
  • Call in medication refills under direction of physician/PA/NP
  • Conduct patient transfers within the facility
  • Perform efficient and appropriate room cleaning procedures and ensure rapid room turnover
  • Transport equipment, instruments, linen, and garbage
  • Follow standard precautions and procedures for decontaminating instruments, equipment, rooms, and ancillary items
  • Assist in sorting, counting, maintaining, packing, wrapping, sterilizing, and storing of instruments
  • Perform inventory, restocking, and ordering as required
  • Perform suture removal as directed
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality
  • Work in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times
Requirements
  • Valid certification from an accredited Nursing Assistant program
  • Certified to perform CNA duties in the state where work is being done
  • 6 months - 1 year related experience preferred
  • Must be computer literate
