Veterinary Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Dermatology Clinic. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in delivering high-quality dermatology services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgery and prepare animals for procedures
- Provide wound care and advise pet owners on proper care
- Exceed client expectations of service and demonstrate excellent relations with clients and pets
- Record keeping and fill prescriptions as prescribed by the doctor
Requirements:
- Previous experience or training in a veterinary facility
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player
- Capable of being cross-trained for front office receptionist duties
- High school diploma or equivalent and ability to lift 40 pounds
