Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our Internal Medicine department at Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in a general practice setting and be able to work in a highly collaborative environment. They will be responsible for providing excellent care to patients, assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and activity
- Calculate and administer medications
- Assist with general anesthesia and sedated procedures
- Provide support to all veterinarians and veterinary technicians
- Accurately take and process radiographs
- Properly use and maintain medical equipment
- Provide professional client communication
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a general practice setting
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-level care
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
