Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Leader to oversee the management of our enterprise technology portfolio, including SAP Business Applications. This individual will lead a team of professionals in executing and supporting the implementation of SAP ERP applications, ensuring close adherence to change management policy, audit controls, and security practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee team leads focused on support, development, and implementation of the ERP and corporate function technology portfolio, managing objectives, deliverables, expectations, delegations, discipline, and coaching of team members.
- Lead IT Application Support teams, leveraging expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to ensure efficient support, optimization, and implementation.
- Drive best practices in application troubleshooting, change management, and process improvement, while communicating with cross-functional teams, building vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient maintenance operations.
- Lead planning and execution of business-critical application projects and upgrades.
- Ensure that team leaders collaborate with system owners for configuration changes and follow consistent best practices for system use, data governance, and integration.
- Develop, enhance, and monitor application performance, create sustainable KPIs, benchmarks, support SLAs, or metrics for system value and adoption.
- Manage the IT resources and SAP application systems to provide capacity and resource estimates to ensure proper planning and budgeting.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in application functionality, user experience, and overall efficiency.
- Ensure a plan for disaster recovery and security policy is maintained and followed.
- Partner with internal audit to ensure regulatory requirements and IT General Controls are followed in accordance with SAP software capabilities and restrictions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related industry field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a technology leadership role.
- Proven experience managing managers.
- Current or previous experience with SAP applications or large ERP systems with experience preferred in SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Concur, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP BTP.
- Proven success in enterprise application initiatives and digital transformations with project management experience.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Toyota Lean, and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Project management background preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
