About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Identity Architect to join our Technical Domain Architecture team within the Architecture and Standards Group of our Global Technology Organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Identity Services: Develop and maintain robust and scalable Identity architectures that align with our business needs and technology strategy.
  • Lead Identity Standards and Best Practices: Author and maintain standards and best practices related to authentication and access control.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering and product teams to promote identity best practices and provide technical leadership.
  • Develop Identity Strategy: Develop and maintain the Identity strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and technology strategy.
  • Contribute to Developer Productivity: Contribute to the design of the Internal Developer Portal (DevIQ) related to identity and access management.
  • Evaluate Identity Tools and Vendors: Evaluate Identity tools and vendors to balance functionality, cost, developer experience, performance, and observability.
  • Implement Security Measures: Implement robust security measures to protect our platform from threats and vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Proven Experience in Identity Services: Proven experience in designing and implementing identity services (authentication, sso, authorization, multi-tenancy, account management, etc.).
  • Strong Understanding of Identity Protocols: Strong understanding of identity protocols and frameworks (OAuth, SMART on FHIR, SAML, RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, etc.).
  • Extensive Experience with Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
